Jesse W. Childers
PRESIDENT
Graduated from technical college in 1989, currently retired, Government worker for both Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories. Working in the Nuclear field. I began my career at TA55 (the Plutonium facility) as a database administrator for the Special Nuclear Materials Research & Development Project. I have spent most of my career as a Systems Analyst. I have 30 years of Service for DOE/NNSA. Upon retiring, I became a Government Background Investigator for Department of Personnel Management. Currently, attempting to finish my home here in Wild Horse.

Eileen Wright
VICE PRESIDENT
Eileen Wright is a notable figure from Cave Creek, Arizona, where she had been deeply involved in local governance and community activities. She lived in Cave Creek for 18 years and in Arizona for 53 years, and recently moved to Wildhorse Ranch in New Mexico. Wright served as the vice chair of the Cave Creek Planning Commission and was a councilwoman from 2016 to 2018. During her tenure, she introduced significant legislation, including a drought preparedness plan, water banking, and a multiyear financial management plan1.
In 2022, she ran for mayor of Cave Creek, driven by her desire to preserve the town’s unique Western lifestyle and manage growth responsibly. Wright emphasizes fiscal responsibility, strategic financial management, and securing alternative water resources for the community.
Bachelor of Science Degree from University of New Mexico, owner/instructor Desert Firearms Training Center, named “All American Triathlete” and competed as a member of “Team USA” throughout North America, served as a Cave Creek Councilwoman and Vice Chairman of Planning Commission.

Mike Steele
BOARD MEMBER
Mike Steele earned his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Eastern New Mexico University in 1978. He spent many years working as a live cattle futures trader, bringing a wealth of experience in agriculture and finance.
Mike has been a proud homeowner at Wild Horse Ranch since 2013. He previously served as a Director for the Wild Horse Ranch Landowners Association from 2016 to 2018 and returned to the Board for a nine-month term during 2022-2023.
